Before Mercury went Direct all kinds of hidden secrets came spilling out of the 12th. The depth and breadth of Republican corruption continues to spew out and appall all but the staunchest rightwing nut cases and feed the media blood lust frenzy, which also carries the latest disaster 24x7.
The Full Moon draws close, same day as Bush's much touted last gasp pull the political patootie out of the flames Iraqi election so he can declare VICTORY. The Full Moon opposes not only the Sun but also Pluto whose just waiting for the Sun to join in a cosmic dance of death and destruction. The full moon in Gemini in the 7th House of open enemies having absorbed the fiery energy as it conjuncted the US Mars at sunrise ignites, upsets, impels the people.
While all this drama is playing out Venus has joined Chiron at zero degrees of Aquarius in the US 2nd. The passage of yet more tax cuts which hurt the poor whose numbers have grown exponentially under the fiscal guidance of a Republican dominated Congress is only the beginning slice of Chiron's scalpel.
My two cents on the Sun conjunct Pluto in the US 1st House. The Sun represents George Bush. George Bush looks like a nut, acts like a nut, a powerful nut nonetheless, a nut-case. He's reviled world-wide and fears walking among his own People. George Bush vilified, the whole vile, decayed, death-skull visage. Mercury inconjuncting Venus lets the Press have a feast, opulent, full of tasty morsels falling freely from the crumbling Bush regime. Neptune continues to trine the US Saturn in the 10th House of the Leader, White House, haunting and deluding the man who dwells there trapped in his own messianic mind. Disoriented, the ground shifting beneath him daily with each new revelation of Republican corruption saturating the evening news. Needing to change he is stuck in a broken paradigm.
The Full Moon chart finds Uranus still forming a strong square with the US Uranus, and trine the US Jupiter. What incredible energy feeding the Iraqi election. Looking at the Full Moon as it rises over Washington, the Pluto Sun coupling are in the 10th House of the Nation's Leader opposing the Full Moon in the US 4th House of the common man, American, Iraqi. The Sun forms a sesquiquadrate (135 degrees irritating one or the other dominates) with Mars and Saturn which also square one another. The transiting Full Moon then semi-squares both Mars and Saturn. On might ask just how angry are the American people? Plenty ticked, we see with our own eyes the lies, the abuse of the Iraqi's, the abuse of people of color. All viewable courtesy of "I Know" Aquarius the internet, CSPAN and cable news. The major networks still lag behind whether no cojones or Republican rightwing owned they're becoming irrelevant. The recent Neptunian/Rovian attempts to paint the Democrats as divided is laughable. Joe needs to drink a cupa' coffee smelling it isn't doing the trick. Blue, Purple, Mauve, Pink, Red, Yellow, Black, Brown have it had and find themselves more united then ever in their goal of ridding this great Nation of the greedy corrupt thieving bastards that have highjacked our Country.
So all in all the Full Moon looks downright ominous for the US and especially for the Yahoo in Chief.

The Sun at zero degrees Capricorn steps into the 9th House of Justice, National and International Law, the legal system. Fitzmas!
Already in January the Court House's packed with Republican's offensively defending themselves with their holier then thou appearance and speech whose actions speak loudly of greed and covetousness not seen since the likes of David and Uriah over Bathsheba. Abramof's web of intrigue stoked many a greedy politicians' coffer and tainted all those associated. That's like the Titanic hitting the iceberg, only a little scratch, little berg...right.
Pluto at 24 Sagittarius widely conjuncts the Sun and cusp of the 9th House dogging the heels of the Sun carrying with it the horror's of George's reign breathing down his neck.
Saturn coming from the 4th House trines Mercury in the 8th House, the North Node in the 12th House, the Moon trines the Ascendent and Mars indicating the Common Man, American or Iraqi have the power to influence the image of their Nation and the policies being enacted by their Representatives, be it insurgent or Congressman. The Mars-tial' energy inconjunct the South Node (you sowed it you reap it) bringing back to the forefront the results of actions taken in the US 6th House, the Military's and CIA's disgrace, White Phosphorus = Napalm, Abu Ghraib = Torture, Water Boarding and Rendition. Enough to make any American sick at heart.
Neptune crosses the threshold of the 11th House wherein we find the Moon opposing the only other occupant, Uranus. Explosiveness and contentiousness will rock the hallowed halls of the House and Senate grabbing the headlines of the evening news including the Captains of Big Oil, Global Warming all brought home to roost during the Season of Misgiving.
Winter Solstice and the US Chart, just doesn't bode any better for the next three months.
The Press is front and center with Mercury conjunct the US Ascendent. The Sun, the Leader is morphing at zero Capricorn ready to embark on yet another image makeover with Plutonic taint painting his visage.
The Moon in Virgo (nit picky people, bean counters gotta love'm, Henry Waxman comes to mind with his list of Bush lies prominently displayed on his website), anyway the Moon is in the 9th demanding JUSTICE as expressed by Uranus in the 3rd House whether it's the water born dramas of Hurricane victims who have awakened to the reality that the US Government is NOT there for them (or any of the rest of us) and it is up to Community to rebuild and aid one another to regain a foothold in life.
Chiron wounds, Chiron is conjunct Venus in the US 2nd House which just has a ghastly smell. Our love of oil, our dependence on Social Security, those things of opulence and security/stability are impacted. The Winter heating bill for what may be another record of weird wild weather will have arrived. Anyone notice the rest of the World is blaming the US for the horrible weather they are experiencing because of our addiction to fossil fuels? Ooops.
The Good news? The 2006 Elections are coming and we the People (less you have Diebold voting machines) have the opportunity to turn them out. Though cleaning up Ohio and Florida might be on someone's priority list. The long night will pass the New Year on the horizon, the State of the Union tales from the Rightside attempts to persuade America to stay the course, attain Victory when there is no definition for
Victory and the course has taken us off the edge of the cliff. Let's bring our troops home. Enough.
